They are the big boys' and girls' toys. In Britain and in the United States, a majority of the people own at least one car. For many, a car is a necessity, providing them with a convenient means of transportation for work, school, and leisure. But, aside from necessities, these vehicles are also canvasses for the artistic-minded. Indeed, many owners "pimp" up their cars, turning them into rolling pieces of artwork. While serious enthusiasts wrestle with outrageous paint jobs, monster wheels, and other expensive custom parts, the less radical ones settle for relatively less expensive interior adornments.  Here are some suggestions on how you can modify your car so that it would become a unique gem.

A good place to start is the steering wheel. Visit a car shop, and choose a wheel cover according to the theme you want. You may choose something classic such as brown or black leather, or something outrageous such as a fur-lined cover. Seats are your next target. Check out unique seat cover designs such as tiger stripes, flames, or simply an attractive solid colour. Be sure though that the seat covers are comfortable. The dashboard and your rear-view mirror are great places for decoration. Buy some fancy jewellery, and hang them on the mirror. As a nice and meaningful touch, choose jewellery with your birthstone on it. You can also add smaller pieces of jewellery or hang stuffed toys with suction hooks that can be attached to your windshield. For the dashboard itself, stick up some of those little dolls with the funny bobbing heads.

Finally, do not forget the floors! These are rich areas for art, and there are lots of designs to choose from. For a really unique touch, why not use bathmats or welcome mats that you use in your house? With just these simple modifications, you would have a car that is unlike any other.
